Yesterday eve me along with one of my colleague Khayyam, went for the new launch of The I
ncredible Hulk, which is actually a reboot from the previous Hulk 2003, and not a sequel. Edward Norton replaces Eric Bana, where as Liv Tyler has replaced Jennifer Conelly. There is not much difference in the stories of the two parts, but if we analyse them action vise, I would not hesitate to confess that Incredible Hulk 2008 has got more action and thrill than the previous version. Over all it remained good or above average, but the worst part of the movie was when in a scene Betty Ross (Liv Tyler) faints and Hulk (Edward Norton) carries her to the jungles. There when she opens her eyes she shouts and so does Hulk. One might stop here and ponder over the fact, that how can Hulk be scared of just a little lady. The man who fights the entire army and world got scared and shouted due to Betty’s sudden reaction. However, the movie was an amazing experience at cineplex Karachi. It’s a must see.

“Eventions” did it this time – Hamara Karachi (June 7, 2008)
Karachi has always been neglected, when it comes to cultural events and melas. This time ever in the history, Karachi experienced a fabulous and enchanting night. Hamara Karachi 2008 (a cultural project initiated by the City District Government Karachi), held at the Beach View Park, on 7th June 2008, remained the centre of attraction for the local public. The concert and fireworks attracted a large number of people, who were enthusiastically enjoying each and every single moment. Eventions (an event management company) took the responsibility of managing the entire event. Eventions’ CEO, Aslam Khan welcomed guests and briefed us about the event and its happenings. I must confess that Karachi would have never experienced such an incredible arrangements ever before. The stage was enlightened amazingly well with the latest sounds systems. The most attractive performance was given by the Scotland team comprising one vocalist who sang Urdu songs of various Pakistani singers and four female dancers, who entertained the crowd quite amusingly. Overall the credit goes to Eventions, who organised this event and made it a success even during the prevailing abrupt situation of the country
